Want to know what this site is about? The answer is right here.
My name is Jacob B. Madsen, a former MSc. student at Aalborg University, who studied Medialogy. I am currently employed as a Research Assistant at the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, at Aalborg University. This blog a hobby project of mine, and meant as my personal space for writing about stuff I find interesting.
My interests are mostly technical, and the blog will mostly focus on programming, stuff I work on in my studies (more on Medialogy below), technology and innovation where ever I stumble upon it.
This blog is meant for whoever might find it interesting. This is mostly a technical blog, however I try to write as non-technical as possible to allow for non-technical people to benefit from my writings.
Now what is Medialogy?
Medialogy is the mix of creativity and technology. It (we) focus on the new emerging technologies as well as current technologies and how to use those technologies in different ways.
This is the info from the official homepage:
If you are interested in the technology behind state-of-the-art movies, music, art and entertainment, and you want to learn how to use and develop this technology yourself, then Medialogy is the education for you. At Aalborg University we offer a 3 year Bachelor followed up by a 2 year Master education in Medialogy.
